Congratulations to The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) for reaffirming its support for the right of women to have abortions and recognizing that Bible nowhere suggests abortion is wrong since no breath of life till birth.

Besides reaffirming membership in the Religious Coalition for Abortion Rights and support of the interfaith group, which advocates the right to safe and legal abortion, delegates at its General Assembly June 2-9, 1993, adopted resolutions supporting the proposed Freedom of Choice Act and the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrance Act.

The Presbyterians continue to stand with caring Christians that don't just twist scripture to their own emotional beliefs about abortion. It clearly should be the women's choice and not one word of scripture says anything negative about abortion. But lots of scripture implies its not a serious matter.

Only those that want to change God into their desired likeness pervert the Bible to try and support their un-supportable views.
